I've been making pictures since I was 14.

Back then it was photojournalism, film, magazines, chasing things that were actually happening.

I still like that.

The world changed, the cameras changed, the way we make things changed. I moved with it. Photography, film, digital, AI. Different tools, same obsession.

People, places, food, drinks, stories, strange ideas. Anything that gives me a reason to make a picture.

Sometimes I know exactly what I'm making. Sometimes I start with a feeling and figure it out along the way.

I work from Berlin, sometimes on my own, sometimes with a crew I've built over the years.

Some commissioned. Some personal. Some somewhere in between.

Those are usually the interesting ones.
